The Midtown North Business Improvement District is being proposed to the City of New York by a group of stakeholders. This BID does not yet exist but is in the planning stages for the future.
The proposed Midtown North BID neighborhood is between 53rd and 59th Streets and between 6th and 8th Avenues. This location is surrounded by existing BIDs on three sides: The Times Square Alliance BID to the South, The Fifth Avenue Association BID to the East, and The Lincoln Square BID to the West. Central Park is to the North.
This is one of the busiest neighborhoods in New York City, and the new BID will be profoundly impactful to both business owners and visitors by providing improved maintenance of public space and beautification projects. Midtown North can become a magnificent gateway connecting Central Park and Times Square.
